Exotic Wood Bottle Stoppers

I am proud to offer some of the highest quality bottle stoppers on the market. From the moment you pick up a GraceWood stopper, you will truly feel the quality…yes, you will know it as soon as you feel it!

Let’s talk about the (3) key components of a quality Gracewood stopper:

With 3 simple price levels, and a choice of 23 different exotic woods, Gracewood stoppers offer a variety of colors and grain patterns in our wood selections from around the world. We even offer a few acrylic stoppers for a true contemporary look. Our stopper designs have clean, simple lines and shapes to highlight the grain of the woods.

NOTE: All of our woods are from sustainable sources and are not on an endangered species list.

Gracewood only uses highly polished 304 stainless steel as its choice of stopper material. This eliminates the pitting and corrosion found in inferior chrome-plated stoppers. Even our accordion-style rubber bellows provide a better seal than the o-rings you will see on some of the cheaper stoppers, which offer minimal contact with the surface of the bottleneck.

Gracewood stoppers are finished with 6 coats of Cyanoacrylate Glue, also known as CA Glue. The result is a clear, tough, and durable finish that still allows the color and grain of the wood to shine through.

"Custom" Stoppers

Custom stoppers have a choice of 18 different wood choices that provide a nice level price point as all the wood costs are all reasonably close to each other.

"Select" Stoppers

Select stoppers have a choice of 3 different stopper materials and are a level higher in price as the material costs are distinctly higher than the “Custom” level.

Material choices include:

  • Red-Based Acrylic
  • African Blackwood

"Premium” Stoppers

Premium stoppers have a choice of 2 stopper materials. It is priced at the highest level due to the rarity and cost of the wood.

The premium stopper materials are:

  • Black Ebony
  • Grape Vine Resin

PLEASE NOTE: All bottlenecks vary in diameter!!! The accordion-style seal will provide a nice fit, but bottles with stoppers should always be stored standing upright. They are not designed for long term storage…drink your wine!!!

Bottle Stoppers Displays

We are certain you will be thrilled with the beauty, craftsmanship, and functionality of your stoppers, and you won’t want to simply throw them in a drawer. So, we have designed a clean and elegant display to not only hold your stoppers but so you can display them as well. Whether on a countertop, a kitchen island, a buffet table in your dining room, or in your office, these displays are sure to please the eye.

The display actually comes in two sizes, one that holds 3 stoppers and one that holds 5 stoppers.

The displays are made with three different kinds of wood…the base is Black Walnut, the sides are made from Padauk, and the top of the display is made of Birdseye Maple. These woods were chosen to enhance the stoppers and keep the stoppers as the focal point.

Multi-Wood Cutting Boards

Functional and beautiful, Gracewood cutting boards serve the purpose of protecting your knife edges and countertops, while adding a touch of style to your kitchen and entertaining.

Gracewood is proud to offer two different styles of cutting boards. The first is an 11” x 16” board that can be used as a cutting board or as a charcuterie board. The second board style is 7 ½” x 12” and can be used as a sandwich board or as a cheese board.

Utilizing a mix of domestic and international hardwoods, each board is one of a kind and comes pre-oiled for ease of use. Small 2 oz. bottles of oil are also available for sale by Gracewood. This will save you a trip to the hardware store and having to buy a very large bottle.

You may be struck by the warmth and beauty of your new cutting board, and may wish to display it, rather than putting it in a drawer. So we also offer a stylish, wrought iron easel so you can easily display your board in your favorite location

Periodically oiling your board with the correct oil is the key to years of board use.

Contemporary Bottle Openers

Add a touch of class with a contemporary bottle opener with an exotic wood handle. The opener, with an innovative, sleek design, is made from 304 stainless steel so it will not rust, and is tough and durable. The wood choices are chosen for their combination of toughness and an excellent grain pattern to accentuate the wood.

These openers are offered in two different styles, “stand-up” and “no-bend.”

Stand-Up openers operate in the usual manner to remove bottle caps and can be stored standing up.

The “no-bend” style will not bend the cap when removing it, and when it is removed, it has a rare earth magnet to keep the cap from hitting the floor. This opener, also made of 304 stainless steel, is a rare find for the collector of beer bottles/caps.
